We are just a mile west of the village of Caldbeck, on the B5299 within the Lake District National Park.
From the M6, leave at Junction 41 and take the B5305 west to Wigton. Travel through Unthank and turn left sign posted Caldbeck on the B5299.
This road takes you through Heskett Newmarket and through Caldbeck Village. Keep the Oddfellows public house to your right and continue up the hill out of the village for a mile with the river on your right and we are on the left opposite the small bridge sign posted to Wigton across the fell..............
